If you live in Kentucky and have comprehensive coverage on your auto insurance, the Kentucky Windshield Replacement Law states that you are entitled to repair or replacement without being subject to a deductible. However, Indiana doesn't have any such law. Be sure to check with your local insurance agent to see what type of coverage you have.
If you are paying out of pocket, the price varies depending on the make and model of your vehicle, but windshield replacements generally start around $250 and go up from there.
